SIPA appoints new Chief Financial officer

Solomon Ports is pleased to announce the official appointment of Mr. Clifton Mark as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Solomon Islands Ports Authority (SIPA), effective 15th July 2025.
Mr. Mark will lead the Finance Department and will also serve as a member of SIPA’s Executive Management team.
Clifton has been with Solomon Ports since 1st June 2021, serving diligently as Finance Manager. For the past five months, he has also been Acting Chief Financial Officer, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to the role.
He is a highly qualified accountant, and a CPA Member of professional accounting body CPA Australia, with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and business analysis across various organisations in the Solomon Islands.
With his professional expertise and proven track record, the SIPA Management is confident in Clifton’s ability to effectively lead the Finance Division and contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s strategic direction.
Speaking on the appointment, SIPA Chief Executive Officer, Mr. George Rausi, stated:
