Solomon Ports supports Solomon Islands National Basketball Team for the 2023 Pacific Games.
Solomon Ports took a significant step towards fostering national pride and supporting sports excellence by generously donating training uniforms to the Solomon Islands National Basketball Team in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Pacific Games.
The official handover ceremony took place at the Solomon Ports head office today, where the Deputy Chief Executive Officer/CFO, Mr. George Rausi, proudly presented the donated items to key representatives of the national basketball team. In attendance were Gloria Papao, Team Manager for the Women's team, and Petrina Walekwate, Team Manager for the Men's team, who graciously received the training uniforms on behalf of the players.
40 sleeveless shirts, 20 for male and 20 for female were donated today, featuring our national colours , Pacific Games Logo , and Solomon Ports Logo.
Expressing his enthusiasm about this charitable initiative, Mr. George Rausi commented, "Solomon Ports glad in supporting our national athletes and promoting sports development in the Solomon Islands.
